You will be responsible for extending eBrevia’s core intelligent document analysis web application to include additional features needed to serve our current and future markets. eBrevia's product allows non-technical domain experts to analyze legal documents and build sophisticated custom machine learning models to help speed review of complex text documents. Bringing ML to this audience requires solving many deep deep UI and architectural challenges.
— Participate in design discussions and assess feasibility of major new products and features.
— Provide mockups and prototypes to clearly demonstrate new features to investors and stakeholders.
— Work both independently and as a leader of a feature team to design and implement new functionality into eBrevia’s core product, a modern single page web application.
— Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, performance characteristics) with a BS or graduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
— Must have basic understanding of UX and product design, and willingness to learn about the legal industry and our customers' needs.
— Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas to technical and non-technical audience.
— Ability to design new functionality or improve product with little guidance.
—Architecture and systems experience: must be able to build modules that are scalable, fault tolerant, as well as designing architectures that are intuitive and extensible for other engineers.
