Position Description:
eBrevia is seeking an experienced product manager to drive the future of eBrevia’s Contract Analyzer product.  In this role, you will collaborate with clients and stakeholders across the organization to define and implement the ideal customer experience. eBrevia’s fast-paced and collaborative team is ideal for someone that is highly organized and able to manage responsibilities with minimal oversight.

eBrevia sits at the cross section of law, artificial intelligence and data management. Experience in one or all of these domains is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience designing intuitive features that serve multiple purposes based on input from a diverse set of stakeholders.

Candidates should be comfortable wearing a variety of hats and adding value in multiple ways throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design intuitive and powerful features to enhance eBrevia’s core Contract Analyzer product

  • Create user stories based on business needs and customer feedback

  • Collaborate with design team to create wireframes and product requirements

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to craft product strategy and vision

  • Develop and manage product roadmap

  • Manage backlog of feature requirements, prioritizing features and communicating prioritization and timelines persuasively across teams and stakeholders

  • Lead weekly check-ins with sales team to discuss customer needs and feedback

  • Lead weekly product meeting with leaders of the technical team and business team

  • Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate product success

  • Serve as product expert in meetings with clients

  • Hold feedback sessions with end users

  • Become an expert in existing product features and provide training and feedback to support team

  • Collaborate with documentation team to deliver timely new feature descriptions and other support documentation

  • Test builds and provide detailed feedback based on feature requirements

  • Partner with engineering to ensure that feature launches are prioritized and delivered on schedule

Qualifications:

  • 3+years product management experience, B2B and SaaS experience preferred

  • Legal industry experience preferred

  • Strong track record of crafting roadmaps and delivering products well-aligned with business strategy

  • Strong project management skills: attention to detail; ability to create and manage timelines, key deliverables, dependencies, quality and delivery

  • Analytical mindset and ability to make decisions and demonstrate results based on data

  • Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong attention to detail and respect for timelines & deadlines

  • Positive nature, enthusiasm, motivation and a desire for continuous improvement

  • BA/BS required – JD or MBA is a plus

Senior Full Stack Engineer

Senior Full Stack Engineer

Position Description:
You will be responsible for extending eBrevia’s core intelligent document analysis web application to include additional features needed to serve our current and future markets.

Qualifications

  • Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, performance characteristics) with a BS or graduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

  • Demonstrated coding expertise, with 4-6 years’ experience with Java/Javascript in nontrivial team software projects ideal, though we are language agnostic and will accept talented candidates with similar abilities in other languages.

  • Fluency in UX and product design from an engineering perspective, and willingness to learn about the legal industry and our customers' needs, able to work directly with product managers and UI/UX designers.

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas to technical and non-technical audience.

  • Architecture and systems experience: must be able to build modules that are scalable, fault tolerant, as well as designing architectures that are intuitive and extensible for other engineers.

NLP/ML Software Engineer

Position Description:
You will lead eBrevia’s initiatives to advance its core intelligent document analysis web application and push the frontier of NLP / machine learning capabilities on text datasets.

Responsibilities:

  • Design experiments and evaluate and implement models to process legal language, including document classification, information extraction, resolving references, and anomaly detection.

  • Translate successful experiments into production-quality code.

  • Work independently to design and implement new NLP-based features. Consult with subject matter experts and understand how to apply NLP/ML techniques to solve their business problems.

Qualifications:

  • Strong academic background, with a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing or related discipline. Publications in relevant journals is a strong plus (ACL, NIPS, ICML).

  • Demonstrated coding expertise in any major language, plus experience with version control tools. Experience building large scale data or text-processing pipelines beyond academic projects.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audience.

  • Additional mathematics/statistical background a plus.

  • Ability to design new functionality or improve product with little guidance.

eBrevia is seeking a Sales and Project Management professional with demonstrated success in managing B2B client projects and interacting with C-level executives in converting sales leads to accounts.  This is an exciting position that, given the candidate’s growth potential and interest, has the possibility of significantly expanding. Candidates should be comfortable wearing a variety of hats and adding value in multiple ways throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to leads by demoing products to C-level executives, lawyers, knowledge managers, and IT professionals.

  • Manage clients’ projects, including providing training and ensuring clients’ success

  • Work directly with company’s team of corporate attorneys and software engineers to develop and enhance the company’s products.

  • Convert leads to clients by negotiating commercial and other terms.

  • Onboard new clients.

  • Monitor client accounts for issues and communicate via phone and email to troubleshoot.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have at least a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of demonstrated experience in B2B sales and/or project management.

  • Experience with legal, SaaS, or legal tech industry a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and make progress.

eBrevia is seeking a corporate attorney to manage projects and client relationships with respect to eBrevia’s law firm, corporate, commercial real estate and audit/consulting firm clients. This is an exciting position with a dual business/legal focus and particularly well suited for attorneys looking to broaden their skill set within an innovative technology company environment. Candidates should be comfortable wearing a variety of hats and adding value in multiple ways throughout the organization. As the company is growing quickly, there is the opportunity to assume more responsibility and a significant leadership role moving forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage clients’ projects and accounts, including onboarding, preparing project timelines and other deliverables, providing training and ensuring clients’ success.

  • Proactively communicate with clients via email or phone to identify, explain and troubleshoot user issues.

  • Demo products to C-level executives, lawyers, knowledge managers, and IT professionals.

  • Review and negotiate NDAs, customer license agreements, and general commercial contracts.

  • Maintain, update and ensure compliance with various company policies.

  • Work directly with company’s team of corporate attorneys and software engineers to develop and enhance the company’s products.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a JD or LLM and experience reviewing a variety of contracts, including general M&A and commercial contracts.

  • Experience with investment management agreements, loan agreements, real estate agreements, employment agreements, ISDA, and/or IP-related agreements a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and make progress.

  • Experience managing projects and working in a team environment.
